Company History
Westin Hotels & Resorts is an upscale hotel chain operated by Marriott International, and can currently be found in 192 countries worldwide. It was founded in 1930, when competing hotel owners Severt W. Thurston and Frank Dupar decided to merge their properties together with Peter and Adolph Schmidt. Together, they established Western Hotels, which was then only 17 properties – 16 of which were in Washington.
They started expanding to other territories, and in 1963, the year they went public, they renamed the company to become Western International Hotels. In 1980, just when it was celebrated its 50th anniversary, they renamed their company once again – this time to Westin Hotels & Resorts. In 1998, Starwood Capital assumed full ownership of the company, and only recently, Marriott International completed a merger, making it the largest hotel company.

Available Options
There is only one type of Westin Heavenly® Bed, but you have the size options of 200 x 200 cm, 180 x 200 cm, or 150 x 200 cm. The actual mattress is designed with its signature pillow-top construction, reinforced edge support for easy sitting, and individual pocketed coils. The height of the mattress is 32 cm, and it comes with a 10-year manufacturer’s warranty.
